Your programmes teach the skill. We work the situation.
Saad's Brain gives your leaders, managers and high-potential employees individual coaching on the thing actually in front of them — the first team, the promotion panel, the restructure, the board presentation. ICF-certified, delivered in Arabic and English, grounded in two decades inside Saudi organizations.
Saad's Brain is the coaching practice of Saad Al-Wuqayan, an ICF-certified executive and career coach based in Riyadh.
Since 2020 the practice has coached more than 1,200 professionals, many of them working inside Saudi Arabia's largest employers. Organizations engage Saad's Brain to give named leaders, managers and employees individual coaching alongside the development they already run.

The moments that decide a career don't wait for the training calendar.
Most organizations we speak to are not short of development. There are courses, platforms, academies and leadership programmes — often good ones, chosen carefully and paid for properly.
What is harder to schedule is the week a capable engineer is handed a team of eleven. Or the fortnight before an internal panel. Or the month after a restructure, when a respected leader has to rebuild trust with people who were peers until recently.
Those moments are specific, they are personal, and they arrive on their own timetable. They are also where careers are made or quietly stall — and where general content, however well produced, runs out of road. That is the layer we work in.
- Handed a team for the first time
- Two weeks out from an internal panel
- Moving from managing work to managing managers
- Presenting to the board for the first time
- Leading people who were peers last month
- Weighing an outside offer against a career built here
- Capable, but not visible for the next step
- Back from a career break and rebuilding momentum
What an organization can engage us for.
Six areas, each delivered as individual coaching with a named coach. All of them are services Saad's Brain already provides — set out here around what organizations are trying to achieve rather than what an individual would buy.
Executive & senior leadership coaching
Confidential, individual coaching for people carrying real weight: executives, senior leaders, and those stepping into C-level responsibility. Decision-making with incomplete information, executive presence, stakeholder trust, and the judgement that seniority assumes but rarely teaches.
Manager development
The transition from doing the work to being accountable for other people's work. Delegation, expectations, difficult conversations, and holding a team together through change — worked through on the manager's own team, not a case study.
Career development for employees
Structured support for capable people who are unclear about direction: where they are heading inside the organization, what it will take to get there, and what to build next. Often the difference between an employee who stays and one who starts looking.
Internal mobility & promotion readiness
Preparation for internal panels, promotion processes and expanded remits — how to evidence what they have actually done, and how to be assessed at the level they are aiming for rather than the one they currently hold.
Professional positioning
CV, LinkedIn and professional communication where it genuinely serves the organization: succession candidates, client-facing leaders, and people being put forward externally on the organization's behalf.
Career transition support
Individual support through role changes, restructures and departures — including for people leaving. How an organization treats someone on the way out is remembered by everyone who stays.
Looking for coaching for yourself rather than for your organization?
See coaching servicesDevelopment is not one thing. Neither are your people.
Organizations rarely need the same support at every level. This is the range we work across, and what tends to matter most at each point.
- 01
Emerging talent
Direction, professional habits, and a realistic read on what the next five years will actually ask of them.
- 02
Individual contributors
Positioning, visibility and building the case for greater responsibility before the opportunity appears.
- 03
New managers
The shift from personal output to team outcomes — delegation, expectations, and the first genuinely difficult conversations.
- 04
Experienced managers
Leading through others, handling sustained underperformance, and running a team that is no longer new to itself.
- 05
Senior leaders
Influence beyond direct authority, communication at board level, and decisions that have to be made without the full picture.
- 06
Executives
Confidential thinking space, executive presence, and the professional isolation that arrives with the seat.
You may recognise one of these.
How organizations most often describe the need when they first get in touch.
“We have strong people about to become managers.”
Readiness work before the promotion rather than remedial work after it: what changes, what they will now be judged on, and the conversations they have never had to have.
“Our most senior people get the least development.”
Individual coaching for a small number of named leaders, running alongside whatever else the organization already provides.
“People here don't know what their next step is.”
Structured career-direction work so employees can see a path inside the organization instead of going looking for one outside it.
“Internal candidates keep losing to external hires.”
Preparation for internal panels — evidencing achievement, interviewing at the target level, and closing the gap between real capability and how it reads in a process.
“We run good training. It doesn't always land.”
Individual application sessions attached to a programme you already run, so the content meets each person's actual situation.
“We're restructuring and want to do it properly.”
Coaching for the leaders carrying the change, and for the people it lands on.
Not a replacement for what you run. The layer around it.
Your academy, platform and leadership programmes do something coaching cannot: reach everyone, consistently, at a sensible cost per head. Coaching does something they cannot: work on one person's actual situation. Most organizations need both, and each works better with the other.
| Programmes & content | Individual coaching |
|---|---|
| Reaches everyone | Works with one person |
| Teaches the general case | Works the specific situation |
| Scheduled in advance | Used when the moment arrives |
| Consistent by design | Different every session by design |
| Ends when the module ends | Continues into what the person does next |
| Measures completion | Measures whether the thing got easier |
We are frequently the second half of a development investment an organization has already made.
Five steps, no surprises.
Understand
A conversation with you, not a pitch. Who the coaching is for, what is driving it, what you want to be different, and whether we are the right fit. If we are not, we will say so.
Design
We propose the shape: who is involved, how many sessions over what period, in which language, and what each participant is working towards. You approve it before anything starts.
Deliver
Coaching runs one-to-one with Saad — remotely or in person in Riyadh, in Arabic or English, whichever each participant works best in.
Apply
Between sessions, participants work on the real situation in front of them. Sessions are for thinking; the weeks in between are where the change actually happens.
Review
At the close we review against the objectives you set at the start — at the level of the engagement, not the individual. What was said in a session stays in the session.
Start with one need. Expand when it works.
There is no minimum engagement and no standard package. Organizations usually start in one of these shapes:
One senior leader
A single executive, coached confidentially over an agreed period.
A leadership team
Individual coaching across a small group of leaders, often around a shared theme.
A manager cohort
The same development for a defined group of managers, delivered one-to-one.
High-potential employees
Named succession or talent-pool candidates, supported through a specific window.
A department or function
Where one part of the business carries a concentrated need.
Attached to a programme
Individual sessions layered onto training your organization already runs.
Engagements are quoted once we understand the scope. We don't publish corporate rates, because we have yet to meet an organization whose need matched a package.
Every engagement starts with a conversation, not a proposal.
Start that conversationWhat we bring that a course cannot.
A coach who has held the roles
Saad Al-Wuqayan spent close to two decades in operating roles before coaching became the work: field engineer with Schlumberger in Brazil, business development at MODON, CFO, then Chief of Experts at the Expenditure & Projects Efficiency Authority. Your leaders are not explaining their world to someone who has only read about it.
A professional discipline, not an opinion
Certified by the International Coaching Federation at ACC level and working to its code of ethics, alongside an MBA, PMP and CAPM. Coaching here follows a method — it is not a senior person offering advice with confidence.
Saudi context as a working assumption
Riyadh-based, with experience inside Saudi government and semi-government institutions as well as multinational and private-sector organizations. How promotion decisions actually get made here, and how institutions really operate, is the starting point rather than something translated in afterwards.
The whole career, not one module
Leadership does not separate cleanly from career direction, interviews, positioning and transition — the same person needs different parts at different times. One practice covers the range, so you are not appointing a different provider for each moment.

What we can actually show you.
Saad's Brain has built its practice with individuals, a great many of them working inside large Saudi organizations. We would rather show you that accurately than dress it up as something it isn't.
Figures from the practice's own client records since 2020.

These are the employers of individuals who have been coached — not corporate engagements. We will name corporate clients here when we have their permission to.
Last time we spoke I was a candidate for a team-lead role — I benefited enormously from your coaching.
After the sessions and valuable advice, I started in a department that had been one of my dreams — and the interviews keep coming.
We were talking about your coaching sessions, and I found that several of my colleagues had taken sessions with you too. Your name is very well known now.
Enough about us — tell us about your people. Get in touch
The organization pays. The session still belongs to the participant.
Coaching only works if the person being coached can be honest, which is difficult if they suspect the contents are being reported upwards. So the boundary is set before anything starts: you and we agree the objectives of the engagement, and we review against those objectives at the level of the engagement. What an individual says in a session is not relayed back.
Saad's Brain works to the International Coaching Federation's code of ethics, which treats that boundary as a professional obligation rather than a courtesy. If an engagement needs a different arrangement — a three-way objective-setting conversation with the participant present, for instance — we agree it openly with everyone involved before the coaching begins.
What organizations usually ask.
Start with the development need. We'll tell you if we're the right fit.
Whether it is one senior leader, a group of new managers, or a broader question about how your people develop — tell us what your organization is trying to change. You will hear back from Saad directly.
- 01We reply within one working day.
- 02The first call is a conversation about your organization, not a proposal.
- 03If we are not the right fit for what you need, we say so.
